A collection of classic Dungeons & Dragons RPG titles are set to be released on console later this year. Dungeons & Dragons RPGs have seen a resurgence in recent years, with many beloved games already having been remastered and re-released on PC.
The Enhanced Editions of memorable PC games such as Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Icewind Dale will be ported to Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch courtesy of developer Beamdog in partnership with Skybound Entertainment.
At this time seven titles have been confirmed for 2019, though no specific release dates have been given. The titles slated for console release are: Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear (expansion), Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal (expansion), Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, and Neverwinter Nights.
All of the above will be available for digital and physical purchase, with more details to follow in the coming months.
