During the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra: World of Tres concert held yesterday in Japan, Kingdom Hearts III director Tetsuya Nomura announced the development of a new piece of DLC for the game.
The DLC will act as a sort of Final Mix for Kingdom Hearts III, and will feature never before seen story content as well as new secret locations and bosses, with more to be announced later down the line.
The highlight of the reveal was a mysterious new scenario entitled Re:Mind. No details on this new game mode were shared but when he appeared on stage at the end of the performance yesterday, Nomura also announced that a new Keyblade and Limit Form would be available to all in a separate free download when the Final Mix-style DLC eventually drops.
There was no word from Nomura on pricing or a release date.
[UPDATE] – More info is expected to be dropped regarding Kingdom Hearts III’s upcoming DLC in June/July.
