After almost a year of absolutely nothing, Ghost of Tsushima turned up at the 2019 Game Awards with a new trailer and a Summer 2020 release date.
Developers Sucker Punch Productions showcased all-new gameplay and cinematic footage for the game, followed by a performance from a live orchestra playing music from the game’s soundtrack.
Ghost of Tsushima is a third-person action game set in 13th century Japan. The open world setting of the island of Tsushima provides a stunning backdrop to the story of Jin Sakai. A young samurai, Jin must master the Way of the Ghost in order to defend the island and its people from a Mongolian invasion.
Ghost of Tsushima will release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 in Summer 2020.
